Also überspitzt ausgedrückt. Etwas was warm hält.

PS. Der pinke Pulli dient jetzt als Schlafpulli. Ich kann mich ja doch nicht trennen.

Autumn outfits for your trip to Europe

Recently I read an American article about the fashion consciousness of the European women and that one should consider carefully what to pack when choosing the travel wardrobe for the autumn holiday in Europe. Otherwise, one immediately stands out as a tourist due to the boring clothes. Looking down at my worn-out pink sweater, I wondered whether in the eyes of the world, Germany and Austria also belong to the fashion-conscious Europe. But the naming of the cities Paris, Milan and London quickly made clear that we rather form a white spot on the map of the fashion sky. Totally (not) right! Time to change that in any case. That’s why here are my travel outfits for European trips in autumn. Or for a stylish everyday life. I must get rid of this pink sweater…

Autumn outfits for the Europe trip: Grounded colors

Okay, the wordplay is not my best one, but earth tones are not only this year a real hit in autumn fashion. I don’t know why women want to dress in earthy tones to match the muddy earth. But at least brown and beige shades are very elegant and I have only just rediscovered them for myself. In addition, their colour spectrum can be wonderfully combined and also red, orange and yellow shades are a perfect match, which benefits the variety of our travel wardrobe in autumn.

Animal prints and checks are still very much in vogue. So anyone who wants to go a little bit with the fashion trends of 2019 should pay attention to them. But let’s be honest: We are travelling and not on a fashion show (unless we travel to a fashion show, but that’s another topic).

Autumn outfits for the Europe trip: Jackets & Coats

Let’s face the fact: Europe can be pretty fresh in autumn. Maybe it sounds a bit too much over the top now. But when the cool autumn breeze rushes through the alleys, you quickly notice that the sun is slowly retreating in southern climates as well. A jacket is therefore always a good choice. My Evergreen: The trench coat! It goes just as well with Parisian chic as with English refinement or Italian sex appeal. In the classic beige it also fits phenomenally into the colour palette.

If you like it less opulent, you should go for the poncho. They are also in again. Okay, actually capes are in, but I think they are subtleties. And you can turn such a poncho into a picnic blanket in no time at all. Win Win.

Autumn Outfits: What else there is to say

Yes, I am one of those people who already make a moodboard 3 weeks before departure and put together outfits according to highly complex selection criteria. Packing my suitcase 3 times and place 5 orders, only to have spent a fortune before my holiday. So exaggeratedly expressed. In spite of all the fashionista-ing you should not lose sight of the functionality. So make sure you pack comfortable shoes. Something that keeps you warm. And appropriate for the destination. Oh, and don’t forget the rain jacket!

What should never be missing on your autumn holiday? Write it in the comments.

And if the article has helped you, I would be very happy if you share it ????

PS. The pink sweater now serves as a sleeping sweater. I can’t part after all.
