Was ist typisch Urlaub?

(In) Marokko Zuhause

Wanderlust Interior | Jungle No. 9 x The Dorie

The balmy breeze, warm sun on the skin, the smell of freshly brewed tea and exotic fruits … How often do we think of the last holiday and wish for exactly this moment to be back. But if you can not go on vacation all the time, the holidays have to come to you. With my Wanderlust Interior you get a piece of holiday directly in your apartment.

What is typical?

In order to be able to design your Wanderlust interior properly, you have to think about which country you would like to go to instantly. And then research what is typical for it. Maybe you also have some holiday photos or just a good memory to help you collect the right items.
For Morocco, for example, it is the pillows, blankets and poufs, the cheerful colors and the absence of tall tables. Candles, the smell of fresh tea and oriental spices. So you have created the basis to make a perfect holiday corner.

Set up a small island of happiness

Make yourself comfortable in your Wanderlust Interior. I lined the bare walls with a Moroccan Fouta blanket. And put everything under the roof window to get as much sun as possible and maybe feel the soft breeze in my hair. In addition, I can look up in the blue sky. But even with normal windows, you can set up such a corner. Just look, where the sun falls in the afternoon and where you also find the appropriate (quiet) place for it. In the summer you can also, for example, decorate the balcony this way.

With cushions and poufs in bright colors, I have created such a small island of happiness. In the midst of the exotic plants, when the sun shines through the window and I make myself comfortable on the colorful pillows, I have the feeling to be back on vacation for a while.
A scented candle spreads the sweet and spicy scent of the distant land, the tea brings back the taste. And if you close your eyes, then you are already far away.

Moroccoan home, home in Morocco

If you do not want to stuff your luggage with poufs and cushions, I can recommend you Jungle No. 9. Here you will find everything you need for the Moroccan Wanderlust Interior. The best part: all things are sustainable produced in small craft workshops in Morocco and made by hand. The pouf, for example, is sewn from old carpets.

So each part not only supports a craftsman in Morocco, but you also have really unique interior pieces at home and this way you bring a piece of Morocco home.

By the way: I put my plants in colorful Berber baskets. Although they are not really intended to be flower pots, but they make a very special planter. But make sure to put a saucer inside, so that the basket will not get wet.
